Ruby Good

Funeral services for Ruby Jane Good, age 68, of Dallas and formerly of Hopkins County, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 11, 2010, at Tapp Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow services, at 3:00 p.m., in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Combine, Texas. Grandchildren and Nathan Razo will serve as pallbearers. Alexander Good, Matthew Good, and Joshua Good will serve as honorary pallbearers.

There will be no formal visitation.

Mrs. Good passed away on January 8, 2010, at her residence in Dallas, and was born Ruby Jane Lucas, on June 16, 1941, in Lindale, TX, the daughter of Cecil Edwin Lucas and Era Faye Rawlinson Lucas. She married Billy Fowler Good, in Kaufman County, TX, on November 23, 1957. He preceded her in death on May 3, 1989.

Mrs. Good was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: her sons, Jessie Earl Good and wife Pamela of Dallas, Dudley Dean Good and wife Yvonne of Sulphur Springs, and J.C. Good and wife Ruby Ann of Terrell; sisters, Nettie Chambers of Wynona, TX, and Louise Martin of Dallas; grandchildren, Rhonda Good of Dallas, Jessica and James Berger of Mesquite, Amber and Esteban Arriola, John and Sara Good of Seagoville, Cat and Adam Sullivan of Seagoville, Kerry Yates of Sulphur Springs, David and Michelle Good of Sulphur Springs, Chris Good of Sulphur Springs, and Adam, Haden, Joshua, and Justin Good of Terrell; and twelve great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two children, Billy DeWayne Good and Jaennette Gail Good.
