A celebration of life for Ricky McCoy, age 55 of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 26, 2015 at New Beginnings Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Pogue officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Tapp Funeral Home.
Ricky passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2015, at his residence. He was born the son of Jimmy Dalton and Mary Lou (Walker) McCoy on November 28, 1959 in Sulphur Springs, TX. He married Margaret Lee Lunsford on September 5, 1980 in Sulphur Springs.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his son, Joshua McCoy of Graham; daughter, Angel McCoy of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Elijah Thompson, Brooklyn Thonpson, Shell McCoy and Kyla McCoy; sister, Tina Knotts of Greenwood and parents, Jimmy and Mary Lou McCoy.
