Phyllis Jan Campbell

Phyllis Jan Campbell was born February 18, 1937, in Como, Texas to Floyd and Myrtle (Murphy) Burns. She married Tommy Campbell on June 4, 1955. They had two children, Angela Darlene, and Tommy Jerry Campbell Jr. She graduated from Como High School in 1955, and later went onto pursue nursing. She was a nurse many years at the old hospital in Sulphur Springs, Texas, and also a number of our nursing homes. She attended church at Greenpond Baptist of Como, Texas. In her younger years she loved to water ski. 

Phyllis is survived by her husband, Tommy Campbell; grandchildren, Shanna Howell and husband Jon of Henderson, TX, Cassie Campbell of Henderson, TX, Derek Campbell and wife Sonya of Kilgore, TX, Dillon Campbell and wife Jacklyn of Henderson, TX; brothers, Gary Lee Burns of Yantis, TX, Denny Burns and wife Glenna of Como, TX; ten great-grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Angela Campbell; Son, Tommy Jerry Campbell Jr., and brother, Jimmy Don Burns.
