Funeral services for Larry Pryor Sr. have been set for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Willis Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Clinlinta Beachum, Bryon Pryor, Joshua Pryor, Rayshode Amos, Sebastian Adams, Deraymus Adams serving as pallbearers. With Matthew Sheppard, Devonte' Pryor, Jameek Pryor, Jamal Pryor, and Christian Pryor serving as honorary pallbearers. A visitation will be held Friday evening October 12, 2012 at Tapp Funeral Home from 6:00PM to 8:00PM.
Larry Pryor Sr., passed away Friday October 5, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Pryor was born July 31, 1954 the son of Herman and Essie Lee Johnson Pryor in Sulphur Springs Texas. He married Melissa Conley on May 7, 2010 in Hopkins County. He was a retired truck driver and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include, wife; sons, Johnica Pryor, of Emory, Larry Pryor Jr., of Sulphur Springs; step-son, Ja'Quan Jones, of Sulphur Springs; daughters, Tamekia Pryor, of Emory, Karenda Pryor, of Emory, La'Mier Pryor, of Sulphur Springs; step-daughter, E'Dream Jones, of Sulphur Springs; mother, Essie Lee Pryor, of Sulphur Springs; brothers W.C. Pryor (Shirley), of Sulphur Springs, Barry Pryor (Dorothy), of Sulphur Springs, Dale Pryor, of Sulphur Springs; sisters, Jerrie Amos, of Dallas, Earma Pryor, of Sulphur Springs, Lenda Beachum, of Sulphur Springs, Retha Adams (Alva), of Sulphur Springs; six grandchildren Matthew Shepherd, Devonte' Pryor, Kasiya Kelley, Brittany Pryor, Jamal Pryor and Jameek Pryor. He was preceded in death by his father, two siblings, and his grandparents
