Memorial services for Joseph Wilkerson, age 58, of Sulphur Springs, have been scheduled for Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 1:00PM at Tapp Funeral Home Chapel.
Joseph Wilkerson passed away Friday, May 31, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Pittsburg, TX the son of Johnny B. and Emly Wilkerson. He married Melvina Goodson; she survives.
Survivors include, son, Elisha Pryor, of Marshall; daughter, Quatina Wilkerson, of Connecticut ;step-daughter Tricia Jones, of Sulphur Springs; step-sons, Larry Goodson, of Sulphur Springs, Richard Goodson, of Sulphur Springs, and Derrick Goodson, of Sulphur Springs; God Child, Emila Goacher, of Copper; sisters, Reana Wilkerson, of Sulphur Springs, Katy Young, of Sulphur Springs, Jean Duffey, of Sulphur Springs, Anita Johnson, of Sulphur Springs, and Linda Wilkerson, of Sulphur Springs; brothers, Johnny Ray Wilkerson, of Sulphur Springs, and Leara D. Rodgers, of Ft. Worth; fourteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents, a sister and a brother.
