Jimmy Jack Sands

Graveside service for Jimmy Jack Sands, age 58, of Sulphur Springs, will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Little Hope Cemetery in Winnsboro, with Jerry Radney officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Sands, Ken Blanton, Jeffery Dixon, Robert McKenzie, James Dwain, Justin Vann. Mr. Sands passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at his home.

Jimmy was born on April 25, 1965, in Klondike,TX to Owen Lee and Carolyn Ruth Hodge Sands. After high school, he worked as a truck driver, which he truly enjoyed. He adored and loved his wife and his family. Whenever he was out in public, he never met a stranger. Jimmy could always be found tinkering on projects around the house. He was a Godly man and a warrior for Jesus. He was committed to reading his Bible daily and lived by the word of God

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Gailya; daughters, Haley Ruble, Ginger Ruble; grandchildren, Kyra Potts, Kyler Potts, Saylar Schroeder, Stetson Rose; sister, Denise Pope; brother, Jerry Sands and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
