Jayne married the love of her life, Roger Allen Stone, on June 15, 1968, in Wheeling, West Virginia. In 2005, Roger and Jayne made Sulphur Springs, Texas, their home.

Jayne had a deep love for gardening and took great pride in her yard, finding joy and satisfaction tending to her plants and pulling weeds. She was the sweetest, most loving person who had a special way of making others feel welcome.

A gifted quilter and crocheter, Jayne enjoyed using her talents to bring comfort to others, including making sleeping bags for the homeless. She was also an enthusiastic sports fan and an avid baseball collector, with a collection that reflected her love of the game.

Jayne was very active in First United Methodist Church, where her faith and involvement were an important part of her life. Above all, she was the rock of her family, a steady source of love, strength, and support. Her kindness, generosity, and loving spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.

Jayne will be dearly missed, but the many lives she touched and the love she shared will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
