Dorothy Roders

Graveside services for Dorothy Rogers, age 92, of Sulphur Springs, have been scheduled for 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Richland Cemetery with Craig Quinn, Mike Rogers, Chris Rogers, Josh Miller, Roger Quinn, Matthew Rogers, and Daniel Quinn serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Mabe, Darrell Meeks, and Carroll Meeks.
Dorothy Rogers passed away Friday morning, October 11, 2013 at her residence. Ms. Rogers was born in Hopkins County, TX, the daughter of Doc and Essie Deuberry. She married Dewey Delbert Rogers in Hopkins County on June 4, 1937. He preceded her in death in 1967. Mrs. Rogers was a home maker and a member of Richland Baptist Church.
Survivors include: son, Charles Rogers, of Sulphur Springs; daughters, Barbara Rogers and Debbie Rogers, and husband, Ronnie, all of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Craig Quinn, Mike Rogers, Chris Rogers, Renee Bowen, Josh and Heather Miller, Amber and Marcus Ford; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Sue Quinn, and great-grandson, Colten Rogers.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until noon at Tapp Funeral Home.
