Don Wise

A memorial service for Don Wise, age 64, of Sulphur Springs, Texas, will be held at Top Rail Cowboy Church, Greenville, Texas, on Saturday, May 13, 2023. Don passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023 at Christus Mother Francis Hospital, Sulphur Springs, Texas.

Don was born to Lyle and Evelyn (Voyer) Wise on April 4, 1959 in Des Moines, Iowa.

He was the loving husband to Donna (Lane) Wise, married in Lone Oak, Texas on October 9, 1999, an adoring father and grandfather. Don worked for Child Protective Services in Greenville, Texas. His passing leaves a void that can never be filled and his memory will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Don is survived by his wife, Donna; son, Richard Keith Wise and wife Andrea; Blake Fry and wife Kelsi; son Eric Fry and partner Tony Allen; daughter, IdaLou Fry and fiance Brandon Basel; and son Christopher Lee Wise; sister, Cheryl Maxam; and grandchildren, Ethan Barnum, Christian Barnum, Karson Fry, Harper Wise, Bryli Fry, and Evelyn Wise. And many nieces and nephews.

Don is preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Sharon and Mary Wise.
