Diana Bellamy

Diana Marie (Umphress) Bellamy was born to Rose Doll and Ivan Umphress on December 4, 1949 in Spring Valley, Illinois. She went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 1, 2012 in Sulphur Springs, Texas.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Diana's life at Changed Life Church (1119 Shannon Rd, Sulphur Springs, Texas) on Thursday July 5, 2012 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association in Diana's memory.

Diana spent her childhood in Toluca, Illinois. On November 2, 1970 she married Lowell Bellamy. She also spent time in Streator, Illinois; Huntsville, Texas; and most recently in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Diana had three daughters, but many others also called "Momma".

Diana is survived by her husband Lowell, three daughters; Tammy (Kellie Jr) Bybee of Huntsville; Kathy Bellamy Sanchez of Sulphur Springs; and Gina Howard of Sulphur Springs; 7 grandchildren; her father Ivan Umphress and wife Vivian of Streator Illinois; and her two brothers Donald (Nancy) Umphress and Neil (Dena) Umphress of Rutland, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Doll Byrne and step-father Robert Byrne.
