Debra Shaneena Smith passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Sulphur Springs Health and Rehabilitation.

Debra was born on August 14, 1957, in Denton, Texas to Boyce Tilden Corley and Barbara Jean (Howard) Corley.

Debra was a Nurses Aid at the Denton State School. She worked at M Knit Warehouse and owned a cosmetic company. Debra loved being outdoors. She enjoyed bird watching and flowers. Her hobbies were macrame and drawing. Debra was a Christian by faith.

Debra is survived by her grandsons, Jonathan and Jacob Bocannegra of Dallas, Texas; her sisters, Tilly Kirkpatrick, Kathy Bell, and Rhonda Silva; and one brother, Steve Corley.

Debra was proceeded in death by her parents, Boyce Tilden and Barbara Jean (Howard) Corley; daughter, Michelle Bocannegra; and brother, Jackie Corley.
