Artthur Berry

Funeral services for Arthur Lee Berry, age 80, of Sulphur Springs, have been scheduled for 11:00AM at Morning Chapel Baptist Church on Friday, June 21, 2013 with Rev. Harold Nash and Rev. Johnny Harris officiating. Interment will follow in East Caney Cemetery with Christopher Washington, Calvin Washington, Larry Askew, Ronald Lewis, Lawrence Washington Jr., and Benny Harris serving as pallbearers. No formal visitation has been set.

Arthur Lee Berry was born in Hopkins County, Texas, the daughter of S.C. and Elbeatrice Washington. She married Travis Berry in Hopkins County, on June 28, 1952. He survives. Mrs. Berry was a homemaker and was a member of the Morning Chapel Baptist Church. Mrs. Berry passed away Friday, June 14, 2013, at Baylor in Dallas.

Survivors include son, Larry Berry, of Sulphur Springs; grandson, Jeromy Boutte, of Beaumont, TX; sisters, Thelma Hall (James), of Sulphur Springs, Vernell Washington, of Sulphur Springs; brother, Lawrence Washington (Annette), of Dallas; sister-in-law, Paulene Washington, of Dallas. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Linda Joyce Porter; son, Ricky Lee Berry; three sisters, Jimmy Jean Washington, Sylvia Washington and Lois Faye Washington; four brothers, Jerry Glenn, S.C. Jr., Roy D. and Billy Ray Washington.
