Allen Martin

A memorial service for Allen Martin, age 69, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at a later date. Allen passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at his home.

 Allen Martin, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully in Sulphur Springs, TX. He was born in Salem, OH to his loving parents James and Marjorie Martin.

Allen led a remarkable life as an accomplished masonry worker and proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. His dedication to his craft was truly admirable, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and excellence.

Outside of work, Allen found joy in music, often playing the guitar and singing with passion. He also had a special love for riding horses and rescuing animals, showcasing his kind and compassionate nature.

Allen leaves behind his devoted wife Anita Martin; daughters Katie, Jennifer, Veronica, Vanessa; son Guadalupe and daughter-in-law Crystal; daughter Valerie and son-in-law Marshall Holland; bonus daughter Kimberly Higgins; along with 18 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren who will forever cherish his memory.

He is also survived by his sister Trena Brinkley and brother Keith Martin. Allen's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

In honoring Allen's life, let us remember the love he shared with his family, his dedication to his work, and the joy he brought to all those around him. May he rest in peace knowing he was truly cherished.
